Course Information
All courses include challenging (but view-rewarding and very runnable) hills to go up and
down. We recommend walking the up-hill sections and saving your energy for the flat and downs! Except for the start/finish on a grassy field and a couple of small paved sections (less than 5%), the courses run on fire trails (with a section of single track for the Half Marathon).
The 5K run will be an out and back course.
Total elevation gain = approximately 758'
The 10K course will be a loop course.
Total elevation gain = approximately 1,467'
The Half Marathon will be a "figure 8" loop course with one additional loop added on to get the full distance.
Total elevation gain = approximately 2,204'
(Note: Elevation profiles below show higher elevation gain/loss figures due to these being GPS measurements. The above figures are based on altimeter measurements and so should prove more accurate. The profiles themselves will still show you where the hills are!)
