The 5K is entirely on paved trails. The 10K is about 50% paved trails and 50% dirt trails. The half marathon is approximately 30% paved trails and 70% dirt trails.
The 5K and 10K will essentially be out-and-back courses, while the half marathon will be one big loop.
All courses include rolling hills that are mostly runnable.
7:30am - Half Marathon Hiker Start (for anyone expecting to take longer than 3.5 hours)
8:30am - Half Marathon
8:55am - 10K
9:10am - 5K
The half marathon will start at 8:30 am and the course will have a time limit of 4.5 hours. Runners must reach the Goldenrod aid station (mile 9.16) by 11:15 am.
All courses will be marked with flour, ribbons and signs to help get you through the race. Participants can also receive a copy of their appropriate course map (accompanied by directions) on race day.
As with all of our races, aid stations will be fully stocked with water, sports drink, gels, pretzels, candy, etc.
The 5K will have 1 aid station, the 10K will have 3 aid stations, the half marathon will have 4 aid stations.
Runners who may need more water, should carry their own water bottle or hydration pack that can be refilled at the aid stations.
