From fire trails to single track, pavement to wooden boardwalks, these courses have it all. Just make sure you don't get too distracted by the views that you don't notice where you're running! All courses include rolling hills that are very "runnable".
The courses are designed to take into account the possibility of rain before and (hopefully not!) during the race. Race will take place rain or shine!
The half marathon will start at 9:00am and the course will have a time limit of 4 hours. Runners must finish their first loop and reach Aid 3 (mile 6.54) by 11am as well as reach the Apay split (mile 9.6) by 11:55am.
All participants can obtain their appropriate course map (with mile markers and aid station locations noted) on race day.
Each course will be marked with colored ribbons that are unique to their distance, so that runners know they are on the correct course. Flour will also be used on the course to keep you going in the right direction.
As with all of our races, aid stations will be fully stocked with water, sports drink, gels, pretzels, candy, etc.
The 5K will have 1 aid station, the 10K will have 2 aid stations, the half marathon will have 5 aid stations.
Runners who may need more water, should carry their own water bottle/hydration pack.
